How to close my pergola:our closing solutions

As protection against rain, wind, sun, insects or even prying eyes, CliKIT accessories for your pergola can help you transform it and truly make the most of it. As such, there are several solutions for closing your pergola, allowing you to prioritise the comfort or style of your choice. For you, we list the solutions for closing your pergola. If you would like to know more about our pergolas, please also feel free to consult our aluminium pergola guide.

Glass curtains for elegance and transparency

If you have a rigid-roof aluminium pergola, a bioclimatic one, or even if you wish to enclose a space such as a balcony or loggia, you can opt for our sliding glass panels.

The customisation advantages are numerous, making it possible to adapt the enclosure to your needs and preferences. From choosing the direction of opening to adding a lock or not, the options meet your requirements.

Furthermore, there are three types of floor rails available for closing your pergola or other structure. Each naturally offers different characteristics:

  • The AL23 Raised Floor Rail: raised and perfect for limiting water or air ingress
  • The AL22 Flat Floor Rail: unobstructed passage for indoor installation
  • The AL24 Mixed Floor Rail: the perfect compromise and versatility between the AL22 and AL23.

The sliding glass curtains from CliKIT undeniably transform your pergola into a living space open to the outside, perfect at any time of day. Absolute transparency and a panoramic view are guaranteed, with the assurance of not losing the slightest ray of light or experiencing any visual obstruction. A pergola equipped with a sliding glass wall forms what is nowadays known as a winter garden.

Blinds for their design and functionality

Blinds offer numerous advantages as accessories. In order to limit sunlight entering the space, to protect against light rain as well as wind that can sometimes prove turbulent and unpredictable, blinds are a key ally

CliKIT offers blinds for your custom pergolas, to be fitted on each gable end or directly on the roofing. With manual or motorised blinds, the options are once again plentiful. Discover our different ranges of blinds for pergola according to your needs.

The Manual Vertical Screen Blind

Manually operated, this blind is very quick to set up. It is equipped with a highly practical system that makes raising or lowering it effortless at any time of day.

The Motorised Vertical Screen Blind

Logically, this pergola accessory has the same advantages and features as the one just mentioned, except that it is motorised.

Operable remotely with the appropriate remote control, it provides constant comfort so you can relax in your pergola whenever you wish.

The Motorised XL Vertical Screen Blind

Pergola sizes can vary and sometimes be extremely large. It is therefore possible to find pergola accessories capable of covering wide openings.

CliKIT's motorised XL blind allows you to limit the entry of rain showers under your pergola or even, as you choose, to filter sunlight as well. With a motorised and easy-to-use system, you can operate this blind remotely, 365 days a year!

The Guided Track Vertical Screen Blind

Unlike the three other blinds mentioned and offered above, this system is based on a foldable fabric operated by a crank handle. Much simpler in appearance, this blind is just as effective at protecting against rain, wind and sun.

CLOSEO closing covers as an alternative to blinds and fixed panels

Designed to be attached to various surfaces (wood, metal, concrete, stone, etc.), the CLOSEO panel adapts to many installations: aluminium pergola, wooden pergola, loggia, terrace cover, etc.

Available in a greenhouse version or in a more refined translucent version offering a better view of the outside, its textile membrane fabric is rollable and allows you a complete opening as well as total weatherproofing when closed thanks to the lateral guide rails.

A fixed panel to define spaces

Finally, it is possible to choose CliKIT fixed panels. They are compatible with all sides of our pergolas and are easy to install, as well as to adapt to your needs.

With aluminium slats stacked on top of each other and held in place by lateral profiles, the solid panel allows you to create a space sheltered from the sun, bad weather and prying eyes.

For its part, the mixed panel is perfect for partially closing the pergola while maintaining a source of natural light.

Made with a solid base of aluminium slats, it allows you to choose the height of the solid section before fitting polycarbonate panels on the remaining upper section. The whole assembly is held in place by aluminium profiles.
