Thermal break insulation

The combination of aluminium and PVC ensures much better thermal insulation thanks to its profiles and PVC capping. These further limit the transmission of external temperature, which is absorbed by the insulating properties of the PVC upper clips.

The thermal rail profiles are fully sheathed, and the polymer material and its insulating chamber form a heat barrier known as a thermal break. Thanks to the properties of PVC, thermal performance is optimised and the level of condensation is greatly reduced.

Double glazing 3 times more insulating than ordinary glass

The 24mm Double Glazing of the KHEOPS Roof Skylight is selected for its outstanding insulating properties on the glass market. It consists of two 4mm thick panes separated by a 16mm air gap reinforced with Argon gas. Recognised for its insulating qualities, Argon gas provides a much lower thermal inertia than the air used in standard glazing. Thanks to this process, your glazing heats up or cools down much more slowly than conventional double glazing.

Laminated glazing consists of two glass panes separated by a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer, which gives it a highly safe character compared to ordinary glass.

Hello,
My skylight has been successfully installed (August 2025). We encountered no issues with the assembly. The quality is there. However, I will get back to you with more details and photos once my room is fully finished. The overall result will look much nicer then. I still need to finish my render and paintwork, as well as fitting an LED strip around the perimeter of the skylight.

Good product, we are satisfied
For improvement: you should offer an aluminium frame as a support (instead of or in addition to) your bottom section which serves as roof fixation, as it is just difficult to adjust due to the PVC cover that wraps around the bottom section…
And the plastic covers that are impossible to clip onto the ridge caps.
But very good product for the price
