The Carport Bois EMSLAND XL is available either in a natural, untreated version giving you the freedom to protect the structure as you wish, or in a version that has undergone pressure treatment to resist insect attack, UV rays, rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.

Stained autoclave finish

In its stained version, the Carport Bois EMSLAND XL has also undergone pressure treatment, followed by a wood stain and a premium paint coat. As a result, its structure benefits from effective UV-resistant protection against any bluing of the wood without concealing the aesthetic of its natural grain.

This also greatly limits the expansion and contraction of the material under the effect of changing weather conditions. All profiles undergo two rounds of wood stain treatment to develop optimal protective qualities, followed by brushing to ensure the removal of any excess.

To keep your carport looking its best, we recommend applying a fresh pressure treatment and wood stain at the very end of summer, then every 4 or 5 years, to maintain the longevity of the wood of your car shelter.

The Wood Roof with EPDM Membrane

Made up of 19mm thick wooden planks covered with a waterproof rubber membrane, the Wood Roof with EPDM Membrane offers superior acoustic insulation in heavy rain.

EPDM rubber has the advantage of being a highly resistant, durable, and waterproof material, thanks to its elasticity. In addition to its noise-absorbing properties, this roof covering is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures during freezing cold or heatwave conditions.

EPDM membranes carry no risk of roof oxidation thanks to their perfect waterproofing and excellent UV protection. Easy to install, simply glue the pre-assembled roof using the adhesive supplied specifically for this purpose.
